Goodman Packing & Shipping

Protection Engineered

for Every Item

Some items cannot travel in standard packaging; they require a protective environment engineered specifically for their weight, fragility, and shape. At our Los Angeles Art Shipping Center, we build custom wooden crates that meet museum, gallery, and international export standards.

Each crate begins with a detailed assessment of the piece, followed by a design that stabilizes and protects it during every stage of transport. Foam-lining, shock absorption, vapor barriers, and reinforced structures are incorporated as needed.

Who We

Serve

Our custom crating service is tailored for artists, collectors, designers, museums, manufacturers, and private clients who need engineered protection for delicate or oversized items.

What We Can Crate

We design and build crates for artwork of all mediums, antiques, marble and stone elements, lighting fixtures, glass, architectural pieces, musical instruments, commercial prototypes, and uniquely shaped items.

Why Custom Crating Matters

Standard boxes simply can’t protect complex or fragile objects. Custom crates provide shock absorption, structural support, and environmental barriers required for safe travel — especially over long distances or international routes.

Why Choose

Goodman

Our crating team uses museum-grade materials and time-tested engineering techniques. Every crate is measured precisely to your item, built in-house, and designed to meet both domestic and international freight requirements.
